
Justin T. Bowen
Justin T. Bowen is a native of Indiana, and practices in the following areas of law: general litigation, labor and employment, real estate, family law, personal injury, products liability, toxic torts and civil rights.
Previous Experience
Justin T. Bowen is a graduate of Indiana University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. As an undergraduate student, Mr. Bowen was co-author of scientific research that was nationally published in the science journal Copeia by the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists.
Mr. Bowen went on to graduate from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis, where he was named Law Student of the Year by the Indianapolis Bar Association in 2004. He was also named Chair of the Indianapolis Bar Association's Law Student Division where his proudest accomplishment was initiating an annual fundraiser benefitting future law students. Mr. Bowen was also appointed to the Indianapolis Bar Association's Board of Managers in 2005, and was the first-ever student member of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation's Development Committee. He was a Member of the Dean's Student Advisory Board, a participant in the Moot Court competition, and was the recipient of several scholarships and awards, including being selected as one of 25 law students statewide to become an Indiana Conference for Legal Education Opportunity (ICLEO) Fellow in 2003.
Mr. Bowen's legal experience includes serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable L. Mark Bailey of the Indiana Court of Appeals as a CLEO Fellow, as well as extensive training under some of the best trial lawyers in Indiana. He has experience in general civil litigation, personal injury law, medical malpractice, products liability and real estate. Mr. Bowen also worked for a large defense firm in Chicago, Illinois for a year practicing in toxic torts litigation, defending a large industrial manufacturer. Recently, he has returned to Indianapolis and has expanded his practice area to include employment and family law. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Indiana, as well as the federal courts in the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.   Â

Life Beyond the Bar
Outside of the legal world Justin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and especially enjoys watching his 8 year old son play sports. He also loves the occasional do-it-yourself project around his home in Fishers. He and his brother Shelby also enjoy exercising and competing in local races and triathlons. Justin is also a strong supporter of the United States Army, and of ALL the soldiers in uniform serving this country.
